While at AIR Camp in Pittsburgh I had the chance to talk with Jesse Hambley, Founder of Creative TreeHouse in Pittsburgh. Throughout the night I had kept hearing people tell me about how great Creative TreeHouse is so I had to track down the man behind the program. In this podcast Jesse and I talk about how Creative TreeHouse came about and how others can get involved.
The Creative TreeHouse is a new shared studio, art & music meeting place, educational center, and creative service located in Bellevue, PA. The shared studio space will let creative professionals come together in one space to collaborate, network, work, play and advance their careers. The art, fashion, & music meeting place will allow members and organizations to throw exhibits in a 7,500 square foot multipurpose facility for the general public to attend. The educational center will allow members and creative professionals to host educational workshops to the general public, Creative TreeHouse members, and students. The creative service will be an alternative source to have creative work done. Companies will be able to come to the Creative TreeHouse and seek it’s freelance and independent members to have their creative needs filled. Companies will have access to some of the top creative professionals in Pittsburgh and a place to talk to them about projects, bids, and needs. The Creative TreeHouse will be headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA but expanding to other cities in the future.

I had a chance to talk with Edward Mansouri of AIRApps.net while at our AIR Camp event in Atlanta on August 14. In our interview, Edward talks explains all of the things that he and his team are doing to allow AIR developers to monetize their applications. I was really blown away by all of the services that they are offering developers.
