MAX 2005 demo files - “Building expressive content with Flash 8″

For those of you who attended my session at MAX 2005 in Anaheim, CA, I have uploaded a zip file containing the files that I used in my demonstration.

These files are for demonstration purposes only and I will provide no support for them. Use at your own risk.

I wonder if it would be possible to find out who did the actual animation. I would like to learn to animate in that style.

What did the use to create the drawings? Was it all flash? Illustrator?, etc.

Thanks for this Mike! Great animation.

I missed this particular seminar, but was able to catch the sessions on E-Learning Day. Do you know where we can find the Flash 8 Graphics Effects and Blend Modes Demos that were shown on Sunday - i.e. the one with the swinging monkey? I’d like to share it with my colleauges at UMUC and it doesn’t appear to be in the Flash8 Samples folder. It had drop downs for all of the new filters and effects.

    Hi -

The animations were done by Steve Piscapo and the rest of the team at Nectarine in Melbourne, AU (http://www.nectarine.co.au).

The graphic effects demo that I showed on eLearning day is actually included with the product. Look in the Flash 8 application folder under “Samples and Tutorials.” It includes both the yellow dog and the monkey - both created by Chris Georgenes (http://www.mudbubble.com).

    Thanks,
    MD

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article , but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
