2 years in development and I assume extensive beta testing so why all these initial issues with most of the Studio 8 releases? Flash 8 in particular.
MM have finally shipped my copy but am using the trial versions at the moment.
Well this initial issues happend when they try race a release data, its clear this bugs where known to them when they ship the produte but they did not care about wanted to release the produte at any cost before. So they did not delay it and here you got you nice bug copy of flash :)
Well it is at lease more stable them Flash MX 2004 so there will be a update one day but this is just bad…
Flash 8, and still you are not allowed to embed HTML inside Flash windows and frames. A google search will show you that many CF/PHP/ASP etc programmers would love to use Flash as a UI for their websites by loading webpages in e.g. Accordion frames without all the javascript troubles.
Yes, you could learn Flash remoting, but Dreamweaver makes it too easy to make database websites. Flash remoting is too complex for programmers who don’t have enough time to learn it. However, if MM would allow Flash to embed HTML pages, you might find more programmers interested to learn Flash and AS.

Since the Flash forum Tour on 21 September 2005 in Duesseldorf I use Flash 8. Apart from the many powerful possibilities is there a few insignificant little things, about which I am pleased.
I can debug now also into the class code. In Flash MX 2004 that was not yet possible. In the mode “Edit Symbols” can I scroll horizontal over the border of approximately 700 pixels outside now. That I missed to Flash MX 2004.
Special thanks for exact for these two little things to the developers, that are responsible for the development of the Flash IDE.

Still have not picked up my copies yet but afte reading everything it can do I am going to get mine right away very cool stuff flash has to offer.
Just got my copies today and had to come online to tell everyone it is AWSOME !! I would reccomend getting a copy if you are a webmaster.

Just picked up my copy last week. Have not had anytime to play with it yet but love all the new features I keep reading about. Congratulations on all your hard work it has no doubt paid off.
Woooohoooooo glad to hear a software product came out when it was supposed to. Was so happy to get my copy and start learning it. All these new features have me anticipating making my old sites and a few new ones!
