Apple Final Cut Studio Announcement - features Flash content!

Woo-hoo! Apple is using Flash content in a major section of their website - the homepage for the fantastic new Final Cut Studio.
About Final Cut Studio:
You know the benefits of keeping all your production under one roof. Why not keep all your production tools in one box? Final Cut Studio combines the industry-standard Final Cut Pro 5 — including powerful SD, DV and HD editing capability — with the real-time design engine of Motion 2 for stunning motion graphics, the flexible audio creation and control tools of Soundtrack Pro and the sophisticated SD and HD DVD authoring features of DVD Studio Pro 4.
I’ve been waiting a long time to see some Flash on Apple’s website. Subtle, but effective.
Nice work, Apple web team!
By the way, I’ve been using the Apple video production suite for about three weeks now and I’m totally hooked. Final Cut Pro HD and Motion are really nice tools. I can’t wait to play with Motion 2 while at NAB. Recently I’ve had more and more reasons to make my 17″ Powerbook G4 my primary machine. The biggest reason was our IT department’s recent upgrade to MS Exchange 2003, enabling us Mac users to access our Exchange-based calendars and other functionalities.

Hmmmm. Unless I didn’t dig deeply enough, it looks like Flash is only being used for some so-so banner animations and nothing much else.
Sure, a few of the animation effects are pretty nifty, but this stuff was being done back in the Flash 3/4 days. It would be great if Apple had used Flash a little more creatively — perhaps instead of the very linear Quicktime feature tour.

Very slick animation. It’s about time too. I had always wondered why they didn’t do a Quicktime movie with Flash (6) animation in it.
Reguardless, Tiger is almost here, yay! New G5’s & Laptops will be ringing in our ears by Xmas. And, by years end, we’ll hear the final info on the MM/Adobe merger.

Now that it’s going to be Adobe Flash, it’s okay for Apple to use it on their site.
