I found this through my regular check of 2advanced.com’s portfolio page (I love their work). It looks like they built yet another cool microsite for Ford Motor Company which shows off the new 2006 2005 Ford Mustang.

I really like the use of short, quickly downloaded, high-quality videos used to provide a better visualization of the new car. One of my favorite sections on the site is “Sound”. Catering to the target customer (someone like me), they are effectively communicating the experience of the raw horsepower (insert Tim Allen-style grunting here…).

I’m a long-time fan of the Ford Mustang (I’ve owned three, including my current baby, the Roush Stage 3 but I’m not sure that I really dig the new body style of the 2006. This may finally convince me that it’s time for a SUV…

  1. That is beautiful! The car AND the site, especially the use of transparent PNGs for the dirt when you click the car causing it to drive off.

    Mike,

It’s the 2005, not 2006, Mustang that is being shown ;-).

I have owned 2 Mustangs in the past, a 1978 and 1988. I haven’t really like the style in recent years. However, I love this new version.

With a little bit of luck, and a lot of groveling, I may get my wife to allow me to own my third Mustang.

Oh, yea. The Flash thing was pretty cool, too.
