As a HUGE Linkin Park fan, and an ever-growing Jay-Z fan, I’m very interested in this unusual new album release: Collision Course.
If you’re not familiar, Linkin Park is one of the best-selling rock bands (one of the pioneers of “rap-metal”) of the last few years, and Jay-Z is one of the best-selling rap/hip-hop artists of all time. Both of their latest albums, Jay-Z’s “Black Album” and Linkin Park’s “Meteora” were among the best-selling albums over the last year.
In this new album, the two artists have mixed songs from the two albums together, providing a unique blend of two genres.

MTV Europe will broadcast the session this monday at 19:00. It sounds really great, unfortunely I haven’t got the time to buy it.
You outta check out the Judgement Night soundtrack if you like that type of genre.
Hey, I’m listening to Collision Course right now, never been a massive fan of Linkin Park but this stuff is pretty good! Thanks for pointing it out, they have only just started showing ads for it today, I think, so you must be right on the pulse!
FYI: Just learned Jayz has a movie coming out (well documentary) called Fade To Black.
Keep an eye out for that aswell.
I’m not really a Linkin Park fan but I really like what they’ve done together with Jay Z… Finally something else… sorta reminds of the colab between Run DMC & Aerosmith but then 2004 style.
a group like Linkin Park Don’t need Jay-z in with them cause their so great and they rock but to be fair i wish they would start doing emo songs cause EMO rules and i’ll be onist Cherster Bennington would sound better not screaming
