I also am having trouble with the latest Extension Manager MX quitting on launch in Panther...also very frustrated, and seeing no response from Macromedia? I need to install extensions for my work. I know how to use my Macromedia apps well, so this isn't just user confusion here...This is a REAL problem.

Please help, thanks.

I also had problems with Extension Manager quitting on launch, even after a complete uninstall and re-instal of EM and Flash. Strangely, though, on impulse I chose to manage extensions from within Flash *once* (as opposed to launching EM by itself, or double-clicking an MXP), and much to my surprise, it worked. What's more, it's been working ever since. Go figure.

I just downloaded the latest Extension Manager for MX
2004, and it keeps quitting on launch. This happened when I tried
to open it for DW MX a few months ago but I thought upgrading to MX
2004 would fix it. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

It happened in Jaguar 10.2.6 and 10.2.8 an now in Panther 10.3.1

Very frustrating.
Is this a known bug for Mac OS? Thanks, Marcia

I recently received a feature list of the new Advanced Query Wizard, a very powerful SQL statement generator, that is available as an extension for Dreamweaver. The next version will be shipped as a killer extension for Flash MX2004 Pro as well as Dreamweaver MX. It will have all the datamanagement features that should have been in Flash MX 2004 Pro in the first place. Release it guys!

Now for a self-plug: My JXL Library Tools, although used to learn how to code more with the Flash components, has helped me confirm as well as edit linkageID's a lot easier. The right clicking becomes bs for more than 1 symbol. Change, hit enter, done.
